Company: August Jackson

My Role: Marketing Manager

CHALLENGE

Since August Jackson first opened its doors in in 2003, the agency has supported corporations with both the production of events and with internal communications strategies. In the past, we had simply listed our internal comms/employee engagement offerings on our website as “services” we provided, somewhat downplaying or vast capabilities and experience. With the addition of Jacque Patterson in March 2019 as EVP of Employee Engagement, we wanted to formalize our work in this field and officially launched a new Employee Engagement practice group.

We not only needed to design internal resources around the offering and incorporate the new practice into our website, but we would also need to execute on a supporting promotional plan.

SOLUTION

In working with Jacque and key members of the Employee Engagement practice, I led the development and design of a new capabilities presentation and a new page on our website that outlines our unique offering.

I wrote a press release, distributed on our website, through PRNewswire, and emailed to our clients to share the announcement.

I executed the concept, scripting and managed production of a four-part video series, outlining important concepts that made up the foundation of our positioning around Employee Engagement:

I also created a calendar of thought leadership to share our point of view around Employee Engagement trends and best practices:

All content was shared across social media, periodically sent to our email list of subscribers, and shared with our clients.
